Explore

At camp, exploration means stepping beyond comfort zones to try new things in a supportive environment. With every hands-on activity and shared adventure, campers spark curiosity and build the confidence to grow.

Unplug

Camp is a tech-free space where kids trade screens for fresh air, laughter and real connections. With fewer distractions, every game, lesson and conversation is more collaborative.

Leadership begins with learning how to cooperate. By practicing the cooperative model and working together in real-world ways, campers gain the skills to strengthen their communities and shape a future built on collaboration.

2025 Theme Nights

Each year, the Youth Advisory Council showcases their creativity by selecting the camp theme nights. While we always have our campers dress to impress for our Banquet Night on the last evening of camp, the other themes cover a wide variety of costume opportunities.

Put the Farm in Farmers Union Night

Yeehaw! Grab your boots and overalls for country tunes, corny contests, and barnyard fun—where every camper finds their place on the farm.

Decades Night

Travel through time on Decades Night—rock poodle skirts, disco looks, or Y2K style as we dance, dress up, and celebrate unforgettable eras with retro vibes!

Awards Banquet

A camp tradition! Put on your best dress clothes and join us for an evening of fine dining, fine music, and camp awards.

BBQ Dad vs Soccer Mom (Senior Camp)

Grab your aprons or fanny packs, the ultimate suburban showdown is here! It’s dads with grilling tongs vs moms with team snacks in a battle of backyard glory.

"I was always welcomed at camp, I felt so seen, cared for, appreciated, valued, and respected."

Abigail G.

"Minnesota Farmers Union has been there for me through so many stages of my life. It’s where I found people who accepted me for who I am and encouraged me to become who I’m meant to be."

Anton B.

"Even though camp is only a week long, it’s often the only week in camper’s lives where they can truly express themselves and engage in new and lasting relationships that only camp could have brought them."

Carly S.

Camp Staff

Behind every great camp experience is a dedicated team of counselors. Our staff share a passion for helping young people grow into confident leaders, and they are equipped with training in safety, teaching strategies and teamwork. With enthusiasm and care, they bring each lesson and activity to life. For campers, they are trusted mentors and role models; for staff themselves, it’s a chance to build lifelong skills while shaping the next generation.
